UT Equipment USD 15s

The KrautKramer Branson USD 15 S is a compact, state-of-the-art ultrasonic flaw detector. This user-friendly instrument is especially suitable for: locating material flaws, measuring material thickness, and automating NDI test systems.

This training module is designed to provide the knowledge you need to use the USD 15 S to perform ultrasonic inspections. This training is organized into ten lessons. The first lesson covers how to set up the unit and initially operate the USD 15 S. It also gives you some tips to help keep your instrument in peak operating condition.

Other lessons cover instrument features such as the keypad and onscreen menu display. They also provide explanations of advanced features that can make your inspections easier to conduct. Once you are familiar with these features and how to adjust unit settings you can try the Sample Applications. These applications enable you to practice calibration and inspection procedures on a simulated USD 15 S. The USD 15 S can appear complicated at first. The Sample Applications lesson shows you how simple it actually is to use. The last lesson shows you how to measure the thickness of materials.

Cost: $33.00 for a 3 month license
