RADIOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT OPERATION & SAFETY

The Radiographic Equipment Operation and Safety (REOS) training system provides lessons about radiation safety, the LORAD LPX-160 X-ray System and LPX-160 NDE Radiographic Testing Applications.

The Radiation Safety module provides lessons, summaries and quizzes for the Fundamentals of Radiation and Radioactivity, Biological Hazards, Principles of Safety, Measurement and Detection, and Emergency Procedures.

The LORAD LPX-160 X-ray system module provides lessons, summaries and quizzes for Equipment Specifications, Theory of Operation, Controls and Indicators, Inspection Guidelines, Pre-operational Procedures, and Safety Procedures. In addition, an overview is provided to introduce the user to the LPX-160 system and radiographic testing.

The LORAD LPX- 160 NDE applications module provides lessons, summaries, and quizzes for interactive applications. Lessons include: Laser Pointer Sighting Device, Main Rotor Blade Inspection, Tail Rotor Blade Inspection, Composite Panel Inspection, and also includes a Radiographic Defect Library.

The applications module also provides an introduction describing non-destructive evaluation utilizing the radiographic testing method.

Cost: $33.00 for a 3 month license
