ET Equipment 19eII

The Nortec 19eII is a portable AC or DC powered eddy current testing unit. This unit may be used for most eddy current applications including first and second layer crack detection, conductivity testing, coating and plating thickness, and tubing inspections. The purpose of this training module is to help you better understand the functions of the 19eII for use in your eddy current applications. This course is broken up into nine lessons. The first lesson will provide general information on setting up the 19eII for initial operation and some safety measures you should follow to protect the unit.

Other lessons will familiarize you with the features of the instrument, including the display, controls and keypads. You will also learn how to properly operate various front-panel controls and how to use the back-panel connections. When you have seen how to operate the unit, you can move on to the Sample Applications. Through the sample applications, you can see that the 19eII can perform a variety of eddy current inspections

The Sample Applications will guide you and at the same time allow you to make adjustments to perform the required procedure. The final lesson covers the use of the PS-5, which is a completely portable, hand-held eddy current scanner powered by the 19eII.

Cost: $33.00 for a 3 month license
